I know the feeling — because I’ve been there.

In my 20’s, I had a bulging disc that nearly ended my dance career. It was a huge wake-up call!

Throughout the experience (and my recovery), I learned a lot about my body.

One big revelation was that my lumbar spine is hypermobile, which means I have to move and train in a very specific way to support it.

That’s why group classes don’t always work for me . . . even though I enjoy them.

You try to follow along (because you want to do what everyone else is doing), push too far, and end up tweaking something.

Or maybe you try to modify, but feel awkward or self-conscious . . . like you’re somehow being difficult or disrespecting the teacher.

That experience is what drives my passion for helping others find a path that truly works for them. Not just in theory, but in real life.

Yes, group classes can be fun.

Yes, private lessons are incredibly helpful.

But sometimes we’re on our own, and we need tools to take care of ourselves between sessions.
